Why do I serve at CrossView?
My primary reason for pastoring our church is that God made His will very evident after much prayer. I'm here first and foremost, to serve and glorify our great God!
My secondary reason for pastoring is so that I might help people. My job here is to encourage and mature the church, preach Christ to the lost and dying sinner and train others to serve the Lord.
A common message I preach here at church is that our vision must first be Upward (glorifying God), Outward (reaching people) and Onward (looking toward eternity).
Name: Drew Pelletier
Born: March 25th, 1991 in Shelby, NC
College: Ambassador Baptist College (Bachelor of Biblical Studies: Bible and Missions)
Life Verse: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. -Galatians 2:20
Testimony: I was saved at four years old under the preaching of my father, evangelist Mike Pelletier. His message, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, resonated in my mind and heart and drove me to Salvation the following day when I was alone in thought. I realized that I was a sinner, bound for Hell because of my rejection of God's Son, Jesus Christ. I understood that no merit of my own could relinquish this overwhelming guilt that I possessed. I acknowledged my need for a Savior and accepted Christ to be my Lord. Since that day in April of 1995 in which I was pronounced "justified," I have strived to grow closer to the One who loved (and continues to love) and saved me.
Interesting Facts and Hobbies: I was raised in an evangelist's home, so I have been in 49 states (Alaska is so far away!) and 20 countries.
I enjoy watching and playing several sports (football, golf, basketball, etc.), although I fail at most of them.
I enjoy hiking, music, video games and romantic dates with the second most important person in the world to me: my wife, Tai.
